Closerie

At the moment you pass the gate, you forget all day busy life.

La Garchère – closerie de bien-être - is situated just outside the small village Poil and isolated in the countryside.

Poil is a typical French village based in the eastern part of the Nièvre and west from the famous “Route des grands crus”, the base of the best Burgundy wines. La Garchère is just 21 kilometers from Autun (in the Roman times Augustodonum) and 6 km southeast from the old Gallic oppidum of Bibracte.

A village untouched by time, with 148 inhabitants, 6 castles and fortresses dating from the XIVth and XIXth centuries, a small church from the XIIth century, restored in the XVIth century and like the Auberge, owned by the municipality of Poil.

La Garchère is surrounded by the woods and meadows of Parc du Morvan. Parc du Morvan is a regional protected natural park which is known for the far stretched woods, lakes, greenhills and traditional farmland.

A PLACE WHERE LUXURY & COMFORT ARE COMBINED WITH PRIVACY, PEACE, SPACE & RELAXATION.
